Below is a
Master Index composed of the information from the cover page, and the witness and exhibit index of each of the 21 Volumes of transcripts in the trial of Jay Buckley conducted on May 6 through June 5, 1991. All of the testimony in this case is now available here. All that is missing are the final 72 pages (pp. 767 - 838) which consist of the summations, the Court's instructions to the jury, and of course the return of the jury's verdict.

Index Project
I should point out some apparent iregularities here. You will note a reference to the various volumes both by "#" and by "Volume". The "#" represents the number written on each volume by court personnel, apparently in reference to the number of transcript volumes forwarded on appeal to the appellate courts.
One problem with these transcripts is that they were recorded (and reported) by two Court Reporters, Mr. Charles Rapp, and Ms. Jenny Cataldo. Although that in itself does not present a problem, per se, the fact is that the volumes prepared by Mr. Rapp bear no relationship (by Volume) to the days of the actual testimony. That is, a particular volume may span a day and a half or more days. I am unable to ascertain any rational (legitimate) basis for such a system. His page numbers do run in sequence (within themselves). Also, none of the transcripts prepared by Mr. Rapp are certified as true and correct.
Ms. Cataldo has produced one volume for each day of testimony, but begins a new page numbering with each new volume. Nor does she assign a volume number to any of the volumes produced by her. All of her transcripts are certified as true and correct.
Each of the methods employed by these court reporters, and particularly the mixture of these methods presents an opportunity for mischief. Although I am not familiar with the rules governing the preparation of such transcripts, a system of one Volume for one day, with consecutive (continuous) page numbering would be far less prone to manipulation.
Here is a
CALENDAR which graphically illustrates the days of testimony recorded and transcribed by Mr. Rapp and Ms. Cataldo. I'd also note that it took two Court Reporters
16 months to prepare these transcripts - obstensibly holding up the Attorney General's "investigation" of these matters for such period.
You may note that we have presented the "Volume" number (where available) as well as a number denoted as "(# (No.) )" This (#) number was marked on each volume by court personnel, apparently for their own reference, which we have also found more convenient, primarily because Ms. Cataldo did not assign a Volume Number to the transcripts she porepared. This should not present a cause for confusion so long as you recognize the fact that the numbering of these volumes begins with Volume I (#5) - and proceeds correspondingly with each new volume through Volume XIV (#25).
Finally, a project in progress will be presented here shortly. This represents a list of Exhibits that are missing, duplicated, mis-dated, or have other irregularities associated therewith. Although it not yet completed, it has become apparent that at least some of these irregularities are intentional, for the purpose of obfuscating certain critical matters.
