1966 Lancia Flavia Vignale Convertible
This photo was taken around 1971 outside Jackson Hole, Wyoming, with the Grand Tetons in the background. The Flavia, with its smooth horizontally-opposed four-cylinder front-wheel-drive configuration, was a very comfortable long-distance highway cruiser. This car was reluctantly sold (with a hardtop that had been scrounged in an English junkyard and imported in 1972) when funds were needed to build a new house in 1977.
