Your
child will begin to master the art of sharing and getting
along with others. They fine tune some of their self
sufficiency skills such as personal hygiene and putting
on jackets and shoes. They will learn colors and shapes
and will be introduced to numbers and letter concepts
through various learning activities, creative art projects,
and music. The world of language arts is opened up with
literature, story writing, songs and letter recognition
as well as open ended questions to encourage talking
and to promote creative thinking. At this age children
are introduced to science, both social and experimental.
Their math skills will be developed through activities
based on sorting, matching, classification, graphs and
sequence concepts. Both large and fine motor skills
will develop through various group and individual activities.
