Thank you for visiting my website. Sacred music has always been my passion and avocation. I have been a part-time organist and choral director at the First Presbyterian Church of Cranbury, NJ for over 30 years. Serving in that capacity, I have written various works for choir as well as keyboard and other instrumental compositions...view catalog In connection with my interest in sacred music, I also established churchmusic.com which is a retail distributor of religious music. We have been successfully serving customers for over a decade. We also offer links to other sources of sacred music at sheetmusic publications. In recent times, I have been performing concerts of Colonial American music plus other early music programs with an old friend. This is in connection with my interest in harpsichords. I've put together two harpsichord kits so far. One interesting development in musical software is called "Haupwerk" which enables me to play digital samples of real pipe organs. I have been having fun playing some of my compositions on these "virtual" organs using a PC specifically configured for the purpose. As I add to the performance collection, I will post the mp3 files here. Photography is another of my passions. I have done a lot of large format photography. However, in recent times, I have switched to digital imaging. You can view my efforts by clicking on personal galleries. Also, I have created web pages based on my father's recollections of his childhood in North Dakota, his military activities overseas and his career as a police chief in Farmington, Minnesota. He led a very interesting life. See the memoirs of Jake Klotzbeacher -- "As I Remember It". |
