Kathy McClure - President, joined LKG-CMC, Inc. in July of 1992. Her main goals were to expand the firm’s presence in the South Florida region. She particularly focused on the Miami area as well as marketing efforts in the South East Region of the US. Following 12 successful years as Vice President of that region, in 2005 she accepted the offer to join LKG’s Corporate headquarters in Glendale California as President. Her outstanding organizational skills and knowledge of the business have been instrumental in the firms’ present day success. In March of 2011 she purchased LKG-CMC, Inc. and is now the sole owner of the firm.
In 2013 she was elected to the Board of directors of the Glendale Chamber as a Vice President of Commerce and serves as the Chair for the Transportation Committee. Ms. McClure also serves as the Chair of Business Partnership Program for the Glendale Educational Foundation and was also honored as Woman of Year for the City of Glendale. Her goals are to promote the efforts of transportation to enhance her community’s viability in the region.

 

Claudia Elliott - Vice President, has expertise in document control, configuration management, design review coordination, contract administration, claims mitigation and administration, grants management, project management, administration, oversight and quality assurance control. With over 30 years of experience, Ms. Elliott's current projects include FTA Project Management Oversight assignments. Ms. Elliott is the immediate past chair of the APTA Capital Projects Committee. She holds a certificate from the Construction Specifications Institute as a Certified Construction Documents Technologist.

 

Linda Garfold - Associate Vice President, is responsible for managing the activities in our East Coast Region, including all business development, contract administration, project start-up and oversight. Her experience spans more than 28 years with a concentrated work effort in document control, records retention, configuration control, process development, and auditing. Her career spans 15 years in the transit industry and her project portfolio includes numerous FTA funded projects.
Ms. Garfold has grown with technology. Early in her career, in support of paper-based systems, she developed and implemented Access databases to manage project documents, track action items, support claims, and track spares. As technology advancements were made her work responsibilities evolved into developing processes, roles and user permissions, file folder structures and other framework needs to implement totally electronic systems with APP compatibility. Her experience covers all project phases from design through construction and closeout. Ms. Garfold has performed project document control systems audits for compliance with government regulations, including FTA oversight and agency requirements along with supporting clients during claims and litigation.

 

Kara Ostrowski - VP of Office Management and Administration, is responsible for directing all of the administrative functions of the Corporation in accordance with industry standards; regulatory agencies, and company objectives and policies. Ms. Ostrowski has been with (LKG) since 2009 and previously served as the Document Control\Office Management Administrator. She has assisted the President of the company, Contract Administration and Human Resources staff. During that time, she also implemented and maintained document control systems, databases and provided administrative support to other departments of the company.
Prior to coming on‐board with LKG, Ms. Ostrowski was with URS Corporation (formerly OʹBrien‐ Kreitzberg, Inc.) for 21 years. In those years, her duties included Document Control Analyst, Claims Analyst, Senior Marketing Coordinator, Contract Administrator and Regional Office Manager. She has a combined total of 43 years of administrative, document control, claims and marketing experience of which 34 years were spent in the engineering and construction management industry.

 

Christina Garside - Human Resources Representative, joined LKG in February 2011 as the Business Development Facilitator for Florida. During her time in this position, Mrs. Garside was an active member of the Society for Marketing in Professional Services (SMPS) and served as the WTS‐Tampa Bay Chapter Secretary for three consecutive terms. As the H.R. Representative Ms. Garside is be responsible for the design and administration of Human Resource policies and procedures, including collecting and analyzing Human Resource data and making recommendations to management.
Prior to joining LKG, Ms. Garside held a Customer Service Management position for 23 years and was active in Human Resource initiatives including recruitment/retention measures, developing personnel policies along with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and creating/ administrating training materials throughout the organization. Ms. Garside holds an MBA in Management from Rockhurst University, as well as, an MS in Business Education from Emporia State University.
