Fabrik Communications, Inc. is a value-added Internet email service provider for business-to-business communications. The Fabrik Service enables users of Lotus cc:Mail, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Mail and other LAN-based email systems, to connect existing LAN mail clients to the Internet, X.400, and commercial online services such as AOL and CompuServe. The Fabrik Service currently hosts over 150,000 registered users.
The Fabrik Web site was designed as:
- An information source for customers, press and partners
- A support medium for existing customers
- A demand-generation tool
- A distribution mechanism where prospective customers can actually download software files that allow them to "test drive" the Fabrik
