Lori has excellent editing skills and adapts the level of editing to meet the needs of the author(s) and the publication schedule. In evaluating a manuscript or other written piece, Lori devotes careful attention not only to grammar and style but also to the development of content to ensure that all necessary information is included and is clearly articulated. As a managing editor, Lori’s sound organizational skills and commitment to deadlines enable her to plan efficient editorial schedules for the production of timely publications of various lengths. She collaborates effectively with the full publication team, from content providers and editors to graphic designers and printers. As editor of the AMWA Journal, Lori established editorial processes and manages the peer-review process for original works. She has assembled a proficient editorial staff and has engaged writers to share their expertise in the Journal in an effort to enhance the quality of the contents and better serve the needs of the organization’s range of members.
